BEHIND THE BRAND

THE SHORE LINE was founded in 2021 with a simple idea: vacation dressing should feel effortless.

Inspired by founder Lisa Strandberg’s upbringing on the Florida coast and a lifetime spent in fashion, THE SHORE LINE creates the pieces you reach for on vacation—and find yourself wearing long after you come home.

Easy silhouettes. Natural fabrics. Pieces designed to work together. A wardrobe that can take you from the beach to lunch, dinner, travel days and everywhere in between without requiring much thought.

Because getting dressed should be the easy part.

MEET LISA

Fashion has been part of Lisa’s life for as long as she can remember.

Scouted as a model at 12, she later signed with Ford Models and spent years working in New York and Europe, including as an in-house model for Versace in Milan and walking for designers including Armani and Carolina Herrera. She eventually moved behind the scenes, working as a model booker and stylist and developing an understanding of fashion from both sides of the industry. Years later, after raising three boys and returning to the Florida coast, Lisa saw a gap in her own wardrobe: elevated pieces that felt appropriate for a life lived near the water but weren’t traditional “resort wear.”

She wanted clothes that were relaxed without looking casual. Comfortable without sacrificing style. Pieces that could be packed in a suitcase, worn in multiple ways and still feel relevant years later.

So she began building them.

Today, Lisa leads THE SHORE LINE across design, product development, creative direction and brand, working closely with the people who make each collection possible.

The philosophy has remained remarkably simple: create fewer, better pieces that make getting dressed effortless.

A FAMILY BUSINESS, EVOLVED

THE SHORE LINE may have started with Lisa’s vision, but over time it has become a family affair in an unexpected way.

When Lisa’s son Christian was 16, a concussion temporarily took him away from football and gave him something he wasn’t used to having: time.

He became curious about the business his mom was building and started teaching himself digital advertising. What began as an interest quickly became an obsession with understanding Meta, customer acquisition and what actually makes a brand grow.

He kept learning. Then he started applying it.

Today, Christian works alongside Lisa on the growth and digital side of THE SHORE LINE, bringing an entirely different generation and perspective to the business.
