Choose a reason, then tell us a little more. As a small family business, feedback is incredibly important to us. If you have the time, we would like to know a little more detail as to why this piece did not work for you.
Print your label
A prepaid UPS Ground label is generated on the spot. Print it, attach it, and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
We take it from there
Your exchange, credit or refund is confirmed by email once your return is inspected.

Eligibility & condition
Items purchased on thisistheshoreline.com are eligible for store credit, exchange or refund on all full-price items within 14 days of the time of delivery.
Merchandise must be returned in the same condition in which it was shipped: new, unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged, with all original packaging and hang tags attached.
- All items marked final sale are not eligible for return.
- Returns are accepted at our discretion. Items that do not meet the criteria above will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.
- We reserve the right to refuse any return due to signs of wear, misuse, or alterations.
Fees
Restocking fee: a flat $12 USD will be deducted from the refund amount. This is a single fee per return, not a per-item charge, and there is no additional charge if you received free shipping.
All restocking fees are waived for the exchange and store credit options.
Original and return shipping fees will not be credited back.
Damaged or incorrect items
If a piece arrives faulty or isn't what you ordered, choose that reason in the portal within 14 days of delivery and all fees are waived. We'll send a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Processing
Following inspection and acceptance of your return, you will receive confirmation via email that a refund, exchange or store credit has been issued.
Returns are processed within 21 business days of receipt at our Tampa, FL facility, though most are handled far sooner. Some banks take a further 5–10 business days to post a refund, so depending on your bank you might not see it immediately.
Orders outside the U.S.
We are not currently accepting returns on orders shipped outside the United States. If something isn't right with an international order, email heythere@thisistheshoreline.com and we'll do our best to help.
Gifts
Received a Shore Line piece as a gift? Email us with the order number from the packing slip. Gift returns are issued as store credit in the recipient's name.
